WorldHost was first launched as the SuperHost® program in 1985, offering customer service training for EXPO '86 in B.C. Since then, the program has become a nationally and internationally recognized brand for customer service training in the tourism industry. Over the last 30 years, it has expanded into a number of different workshops and course offerings, and was rebranded to WorldHost Training Services in 2009.
In 2017, Destination British Columbia transitioned the operations of WorldHost over to go2HR, which since 1979 has served BC's tourism and hospitality industry with programs and services that support its growth and success. With in-depth experience in providing and administering industry training and certifications including Serving It Right, Special Event Server, and FOODSAFE Level 1 by Distance Education, go2HR is proud to carry on the legacy, and include WorldHost Training in its list of services to continue providing individuals and businesses with relevant front-line, customer service training.
Our vision for the future is to continue raising the bar of service excellence both within BC and abroad. Using our ready-to-go, tailored, and innovative, training methods and partnerships, we plan to foster an industry of tourism professionals who recognize that great service is great business!
